So much better than razors. After using a razor, my skin would end up super irritated especially in the pubic area. I was nervous to use an electric shaver expecting it to pull or cut me. I've had zero issues. Fairly lightweight, holds the charge well and gives a nice nick free, close shave. It is pretty loud though.

This razor had a lot to live up to, so I'll say that upfront. I had been using a Remington Bikini Trimmer for 2+ years and when it finally died and I was unable to find a replacement, I saw this one had pretty good reviews and was much less expensive than others I was finding. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I bought it in January. It stopped giving me any kind of a close or a fast shave by April. By May, it just died on me. The sharpness was good in the beginning but it simply did not last, despite cleanings and adding lubricating oil. There are better ones out there. Spend a little extra or risk dullness and fast appliance death.
